The making of these plates was a disaster.....The factory was about to stop producing, when this order came in. In the beginning over 50 percent went wrong and had to be disguarded. They had to be painted before going into the oven, then bake a while and then had to be painted again with the gold and silver and a layer of mother of pearl, and then in the oven again. This had to be done a 650 degrees Centigrade (Celsius), what broke a lot of the plates.......after this proces, all the plates had to be shipped to the US......

These plates did cost more then they were worth....
